Handmade Lampwork Glass Beads from Lady of the Lake Studio
~ Recent Work ~

Some of these beads are for sale. They will not all be available, please email us to inquire. For the encased, striped, plunged floral and faux stone beads, prices range from $15.00 to $40.00 each depending on size and torch time. Just make a note of the beads you are interested in and email us or call us at 337-474-4712 to determine availability and prices.

We use most of these beads in our handmade sterling silver and lampwork jewelry designs. Click here to view or purchase our handcrafted lampwork bead and sterling silver jewelry. Also, we use our beads in our exotic large beaded charm bracelets, please make sure to take a look!

We will turn any of our lampwork beads into a pendant for you, using sterling silver wire and a sterling silver chain or satin cord. As an example, here is one of our lampwork heart bead pendants on a sterling chain. We can also add your favorite bead as a dangle to one of our beautiful, handmade sterling silver curly chain bracelets. Here's our handmade curly chain bracelet with one of our "Blue Eyes" lampwork beads.

Looking for a way to show off your favorite lampwork beads? It's fun to hide them away in a secret stash where no one else can see them (see, we know all about our fellow bead-a-holics :) but it's even more fun to wear them! Make sure to see our Bead Showcase Sterling Bangle Bracelets and our Bead Showcase Sterling Chokers. We can make these with either your beads or ours!

RECENT WORK

So, the saga of the lampworker continues... She has finally tamed the blue Zebras...

Blue Zebra

.. and now has begun to encounter other strange creatures, with mysterious little bubbly eyes!...

Those creatures began to metamorphose into fields of blue calla lilies....

Then she was engaged in the alchemy of turning glass into gemstones and polished rocks! Here are 9 beads fashioned to look like African and Chinese turquoise and other blue and green polished stones. We use these in our "Turquoise Treasure" lampwork, turquiose and jade charm bracelets.

Here is a selection of faux lapis lazuli and coordinating beads in rounds, hearts and various other shapes, as well as some wonderful "night sky" focal beads, made with pure 999 fine silver for the planets and stars! We use these in our "Night Skies" lampwork and lapis lazuli charm bracelets.

And here are two "rose quartz" lampwork beads, a tabular and a round, shown in closeup to capture details....

Here's a plump heart bead, made to look like carved purple-pink stone.. made lots of these for Valentine's day!

And here are more hearts, some faux stone, some clear encased.. Large to medium sized beads. These look really pretty as pendants on a sterling chain.

Here are some faux "Charoite" beads. Charoite is a rare and beautiful swirling purple and lavender gemstone with sparkling tinkasite inclusions found only in one place in Russia, near the Charo river. Some people say it was named not for the river, but for the Russian word for magic! Here is Lee's interpretation of that stone.

Well, it must have been the Call of the Wild, lately it has been animal print beads, including tigers, leopards and more of those zebras! We are using these in some new tiger lampwork bead, sterling and amber jewelry.
